About Assaggio
Assaggio is a 2025 Axopar 29 Sun Top, the newest boat in the range and one of the sharpest day boats in Malta. Twin Mercury outboards and a full digital helm mean she actually covers ground: Comino and the Blue Lagoon before the crowds arrive, or a full lap of Gozo inside a day. The cockpit converts, so the same space is a dining table at lunch and a sun lounge on the crossing, with the sun top overhead when the afternoon gets serious. There is a bow sundeck for the swimming stops, an aft daybed for the way home, and a private head on board. Eight guests, VAT and your own skipper included, and someone at the helm who knows which side of the island is calm when the north is blowing. Day charter rates start from €1,500. We had a great day and everybody was very happy. We discovered a great point of view from the historical harbour and the south of the island. We liked the cliffs and swimming in a calm area compared to Comino. Thanks for the organisation, the restaurant was very good. And the skipper was very nice and drove very smoothly despite the waves in the morning.
