No portal, no account creation, no quote request that answers in four days. A charter booking with us is a WhatsApp conversation with five recognisable moments. Here they are, so nothing in the process ever surprises you.
Step one: the first message
Dates, area, group size. That is enough to start; budget and occasion help. The two minute version of writing it well is in how to message a broker.
Step two: the shortlist
We come back the same day in season with boats that are real, actually free on your dates, and priced at the operator's own number, on a personal page built for your enquiry that updates as we talk. No packs of twenty links; three that fit beat twenty that flatter.
Step three: confirming the boat
You pick, we verify the slot with the operator that day, and the boat is held while paperwork moves. Day charters confirm with a deposit, commonly 30-50% with the balance before boarding. Weekly charters run on the MYBA schedule: 50% at signature, the rest plus APA and VAT about a month out, all explained line by line in the contract guide.
Step four: the money, and who holds it
You pay the operator directly under the contract terms. Charter funds never pass through Elite Rentals Europe and we do not hold a client account; funds move under the operator's or MYBA escrow terms. A desk that wants your charter money in its own account is the industry's oldest red flag, which is why our answer to it is structural, not a promise.
Step five: boarding day
Before the date you have the meeting point, boarding time, crew contact and the day's plan. You arrive, the crew takes it from there, and the same person who answered your first message is still on your WhatsApp thread if anything needs a human. That thread does not close after the charter; it becomes the number you save, and the next destination is one message away. What the day itself feels like is in the first timer's guide.
