Birthdays, proposals and company days: chartering for an event

A meaningful share of what we book is not a holiday, it is an occasion: a fortieth, a proposal, a team that shipped the thing. The boat turns out to be the best venue there is, private by construction, catered to your taste, with a backdrop no rooftop can rent.

What makes event charters different

The brief leads with the moment, not the boat. When the cake comes out, where the skyline should be, when the music lifts, whether the ring comes out at anchor or under way. Give the crew the script and they will produce it; they have done a hundred of these and they love a good one. Catering runs from platters to a private chef; your bar or ours; decoration within what the boat allows. All arranged in the booking, priced before you commit.

The capacity question, answered early

Licensed guest capacity is a legal ceiling, commonly twelve on day boats, and it is the first number that shapes an event. Above twelve, three honest options: a larger vessel licensed for more where the area offers one, two boats cruising together, which splits generations or friend groups naturally and doubles the photos, or moving the headcount ashore and keeping the boat for the inner circle. What never works is nineteen people arriving for a booking of twelve; the crew cannot and will not stretch a licence. The mechanics are in the group size guide.

Formats that consistently land

  • The golden hour birthday: late afternoon board, swim, dinner at anchor, skyline and cake after dark; see the Malta sunset format
  • The proposal: a quiet anchorage, a primed crew, and a photographer briefed as a friend aboard
  • The company day: morning cruise, long lunch, afternoon swim; phones die at sea and teams actually talk
  • The wedding satellites: the day before or after, for the group that flew in; the wedding itself usually stays ashore, the memory happens on the water

Brief it like this

Occasion, date, honest guest count, vibe, one sentence on the moment that matters. From that we shortlist boats and crews that fit the event, not just the headcount. Send it on WhatsApp and watch it become a plan.

Tell us the date and the number of guests

We come back the same day in season with what is actually free, the all in number and the terms. Save the number and use it for any destination after this one.
