Ibiza runs the most famous charter day in the Mediterranean: out of the marina mid morning, south past Es Vedra or straight across to Formentera, anchor off Illetes in water that makes the Caribbean comparisons feel fair, lunch you booked weeks ago or a chef on board, and the afternoon set drifting over the water from the beach clubs. The island invented this day and still does it better than anywhere.

Where you actually go
Twenty odd minutes from Ibiza's marinas and the reason half the fleet exists. Ses Illetes is the anchorage from the photographs: white sand bottom, boats lined up like a regatta, restaurants ashore that treat lunch as theatre. Go early for the sand bar swim, or late when the day fleet leaves and the water goes glass.
The limestone monolith off Cala d'Hort is the island's postcard and its best golden hour. The run down the southwest coast strings together Cala Comte, Cala Bassa and Cala Tarida, the beaches that face the sunset. This is the closing hour of a well planned Ibiza day.
When the south is a scene, the north is a secret. Benirras with its drummers at sunset, Cala Xarraca's coves, and anchorages that stay quiet in August. Worth the miles on a full day charter with a captain who likes the quiet side of the island.
Anchoring off and tendering in is how the island's regulars do the clubs: you get the music and the scene, your own bar twenty metres away, and a swim that no roped off sunbed can offer. Tell us which club matters and the captain times the anchorage to the set.

How much does a yacht charter in Ibiza cost?+
Day charters in the Ibiza fleet run from €999 to €24,200 for the boat, crewed, for the day, and the fleet here is the deepest we hold anywhere. Crewed weekly yachts cruising the Balearics start around €38,000 per week on MYBA terms, plus APA and VAT. Every number is the operator rate we hold, published as it stands.
Can we do Formentera in one day?+
Yes, comfortably. The crossing from Ibiza's marinas to Illetes takes roughly twenty to forty minutes depending on the boat, which leaves a full day for the sand bar, lunch ashore or aboard, and a slow run home past Es Vedra. It is the single most requested day we book anywhere in the Mediterranean.
Do I need a licence to charter in Ibiza?+
Not for anything on this page: every boat comes with its own professional crew. You board, the captain runs the day, and nobody in your group needs any qualification beyond swimwear.
When is the best time for an Ibiza charter?+
June and September give you the island at its best: warm sea, open calendars, and the clubs still running. July and August are peak everything, including demand for boats on Saturdays, so book those weeks well ahead. May and October are quiet and noticeably softer on weekly rates.
Can you arrange the beach club and restaurant bookings?+
Yes. Formentera's famous lunch tables and the island's club reservations are part of most charters we plan here. Tell us the names that matter to your group when you enquire, because in high season the reservation often decides the route rather than the other way round.
What about big groups?+
Twelve guests is the licensing line for most day boats in Spanish waters. Above that, the honest options are one of the larger licensed vessels in the fleet or two boats cruising together, which works brilliantly for parties. Tell us the real headcount first and we shortlist accordingly.
