Yacht charter Mykonos

HomeFleet › Yacht charter Mykonos

Mykonos is the social capital of the Aegean, and its best kept secret sits twenty minutes off the harbour: the deserted island of Rhenia, whose sandy coves hold the clearest water in the Cyclades with nobody on them. A Mykonos charter day is both things at once, the scene when you want it and the empty island when you do not.

Every rate on this page is the rate we hold: crewed day boats from €1,950 to €10,400 as of this season. The fleet here is boutique rather than deep, and in July and August it books out fast; if Mykonos is the plan, this is the one island where booking early is not advice but arithmetic.

Greek VAT applies per charter duration and your quote states it. The meltemi, the dry north wind of the Cyclades, owns many July and August afternoons: captains here read it morning by morning and route to the sheltered south coast or Rhenia's lee, which is why the crewed format is not a luxury on this island but the product itself.

Where you actually go

Rhenia

Uninhabited, twenty minutes away, and the reason the day works: sand bottomed coves, water like glass, and space even in August. Swim, long lunch aboard, swim again. This is what people think Mykonos cannot offer, twenty minutes from Mykonos.

Delos

One of the great archaeological sites of the Mediterranean, the sacred island of the ancients, directly on the way to Rhenia. An hour ashore among the ruins with the guide arranged ahead turns the beach day into something nobody forgets.

The south coast beaches

Psarou, Platis Gialos, Paraga, Paradise: the beach club coastline, in the lee when the meltemi blows. Anchoring off Psarou among the yachts and tendering in for lunch is the Mykonos set piece, and it is best done exactly that way.

Little Venice at golden hour

The closing image: the town's windmills and waterline houses from the sea as the light goes gold, before the tender drops you at the old port for the evening. The photograph everyone came for, taken from the only angle that has no crowd in it.

Crewed weeks: 1 yachts cruising Mykonos

These are full week charters on MYBA terms, contracted with the yacht's own management. Mykonos sits inside a wider Mediterranean itinerary for most of them, so a week can start here and finish somewhere else entirely. Showing the 1 largest of 1.

Mykonos charter questions

How much does a yacht charter in Mykonos cost?+

Crewed day boats here run from €1,950 to €10,400 for the boat for the day as of this season. The Mykonos fleet is small and demand in July and August is the highest in Greece relative to supply, so peak dates deserve weeks of notice, not days.

What is the classic Mykonos charter day?+

Out mid morning, Delos for the ruins or straight to Rhenia for the swim, a long lunch at anchor, the south coast clubs by tender in the afternoon if the group wants the scene, and Little Venice from the water at golden hour. It is the best single day in the Cyclades.

What about the meltemi wind?+

It is real in July and August: a dry northerly that builds through the afternoon. The captains here plan around it as a matter of routine, using Rhenia's lee and the south coast. On the handful of days it blows hard, the itinerary changes and the day still lands; that judgment is what the crew is for.

Do I need a licence?+

No. Every boat on this page comes with a professional crew, which on a windy island in busy water is exactly what you want.

Can we charter from Mykonos to Santorini?+

As a day trip, no: it is a long open water run, not a day out. As part of a Cyclades week from Athens or Mykonos through Paros and Naxos to Santorini, absolutely, and that week is the poster itinerary of the Aegean. Message us the dates and we will shape it.

Is Mykonos worth it for families?+

With the right boat and an early start, genuinely yes: Rhenia's shallow coves are as kid friendly as Greece gets. The island's reputation is the nightlife, but the water twenty minutes out is quiet, clear and shallow.
